Privacy Policy.
Effective July 20, 2026
1. What we collect
Account: your name and email address, received from Google when you sign in. We have no passwords. Profile: optional fields you provide — jurisdiction, exam window, exam type, and status. Practice data: the answers you submit, their evaluations, word counts, and usage counts. Purchases: your order reference and tier; card details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers. Playbook signups: the email address you submit for the Exam Day Playbook. Technical: IP address and standard server logs, used for security and rate-limiting.
2. How we use it
Answers are stored so you can review your feedback history. Submissions and evaluations may be reviewed internally for grading-quality assurance and rubric calibration. Scores and submission metadata may be used in anonymized, aggregated form for statistics and product features. These uses apply equally to free and paid accounts — there are no tiered data rights. Individual answers are never displayed to other users, never published, and never used in marketing.
3. What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your answers with other users. We do not use your answers as content for anyone else.
4. Processors
We use Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery for the Exam Day Playbook), and an AI model provider (currently Anthropic) that processes answer text to produce your evaluation and does not use it to train its models. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
5. Deletion
To request deletion of your account and data, or a copy of your data, contact hello@barexams.org; upon deletion we remove your submissions and evaluations. Transaction records are retained as required for financial compliance. Aggregated statistics already derived are non-attributable.
