Terms of Service.

Effective July 20, 2026

1. What this service is

barexams.org provides original practice tasks in the style of the NextGen bar exam, together with automated, rubric-based feedback. The service is provided for educational purposes only. Feedback is an evaluation against our own rubric; it is not legal advice, not tutoring, and not a prediction or guarantee of any bar examination outcome. We make no representation that use of this service will improve your score on any examination.

2. Accounts

Sign-in is via Google OAuth only. You are responsible for activity under your account. One free evaluation is available per person while launch capacity lasts; creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free evaluations is prohibited.

3. Our content

All tasks, materials, rubrics, and feedback formats are original works, © 2026 BarExams. All rights reserved. You may use them only for your personal exam preparation. You may not scrape, copy, republish, resell, or redistribute tasks or any portion of the service, and you may not use the service or its outputs to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models.

4. Your answers

You retain copyright in the answers you submit. You grant us only the limited license needed to (a) review submissions and evaluations internally for grading-quality assurance and rubric calibration, and (b) use scores and submission metadata in anonymized, aggregated form for statistics and product features (for example, comparing issue coverage across users). Individual answers are never displayed to other users, never published, and never used in marketing. You may request account deletion at hello@barexams.org; upon deletion we remove your submissions and evaluations. Statistics already derived remain aggregated and non-attributable.

5. Purchases and refunds

Prices are shown at checkout and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Nothing renews automatically. The until-the-exam pass is valid through July 31, 2026 and allows up to 10 evaluations per day. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase as follows: Single and Five-Pack purchases — unused evaluations are refunded pro rata; completed evaluations are non-refundable, as the service has been delivered. Until-the-exam passes are refundable only if no evaluations have been submitted. To request a refund, email hello@barexams.org with your order reference.

6. Fair use of the grader

Evaluations are for genuine practice answers to our tasks. We may rate-limit, decline to grade, or suspend grading on accounts that submit off-topic content, attempt to manipulate the grading system, or otherwise abuse the service. Credits are not consumed for evaluations we decline or that fail on our side.

7. Disclaimers and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Independence

This product is independently created and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). NextGen is a term used by NCBE to describe its examination; our tasks are original works built to the publicly described structure.
